The MEC for Finance and who is also Acting MEC for Local Government and Traditional Affairs, Paul Sebegoe will table the budget speeches for both departments at the Provincial Legislature.
The speeches will highlight the achievements for both departments in the last financial year as well as make respective key policy pronouncements with the objective of accelerating the pace of service delivery and the realization of operation clean audit 2014.
Both departments have oversight roles and signed a memorandum of understanding towards assisting struggling municipalities in the province to improve their financial management, governance and implementation of intervention measures aimed at improving provincial audit outcomes.
