SCOPA to meet tribal authorities and stakeholders over the finalisation of the D-Account
On Tuesday, 14 January 2014, the North West Provincial Legislature's Standing Committee on Provincial Public Accounts(SCOPA) will be holding a meeting with Bapo ba Mogale; Bakwena ba Mogopa and Bakubung ba Ratheo tribal authorities to finalise all matters regarding the D-Account at Madibeng Municipal Chambers at 9h00.
Administrators for the three Tribal Authorities will be making a presentation to the Committee on how they have been managing the accounts of these Tribal Authorities.
After engagements with the communities, the Committee will craft a resolutions to be adopted by the Provincial Legislature on the D Account.
The MEC for the Department of Finance, Paul Sebegoe and MEC for the Department of Local Government and Traditional Affairs, Manketse Tlhape, the Office of the Public Protector, Office of the Premier and Auditor General’s Office have been invited to attend the meeting.
