North West Legislature Health Committee to meet provincial health governance structures to foster partnerships on addressing public health challenges
On Wednesday, 30 October 2019, the North West Provincial Legislature's Portfolio Committee on Health and Social Development chaired by Hon. Priscilla Williams will hold an oversight meeting with the Provincial Health Governance Structures in the Legislature Auditorium at 13h00.
The purpose of the meeting is for the Committee to meet Hospital CEOs and Boards, Chairpersons and Secretaries of Clinics Management Committees and stakeholders in the public healthcare sector to create partnerships to ensure that the North West province provides quality public heath care for all communities. Hon. Williams also said the meeting is aimed at addressing challenges in medical facilities across the province that could be a hindrance to the implementation of the national core standards and the national strategic goals regarding health care.
