North West Legislature hosts Reconciliation, Healing and Renewal Programme in Vryburg, 28 Oct

On Wednesday, 28 October 2015, the North West Provincial Legislature will be taking the Reconciliation, Healing and Renewal Programme to the people of Naledi Local Municipality at the UCCSA church at Huhudi in Vryburg at 10h00.

As part of celebrating the legacy of Tata Madiba, the Speaker of the North West Provincial Legislature, Hon. Sussana Dantjie deemed this as a necessary exercise to unite all state political heads, relevant government and municipal officials and the community of Naledi Municipality.

As part of enhancing the role of public participation, the event will see the role and impact of religious sector towards an effective participative democracy in achieving the socio-economic transformation. Faith based organisations will take the forefront of praying and seek recourse in reconciling, healing and renewing relevant parties to ease the political state of affairs that have immensely contributed towards volatile protests and the economic destabilisation of the municipality.

The programme will be attended by political parties, faith based organisations, non- governmental organisation and members of the community.

There will be various speeches by denominations in attendance and performances by gospel choirs to inspire the attendees.
