North West Provincial Legislature to host Information Communication Technology (ICT) Sectoral Parliament
On Tuesday, 18 February 2014, the North West Provincial Legislature will be hosting the Information Communication Technology Sectoral Parliament under the theme; “The role of ICT in participatory democracy”, in the Legislature chamber at 10h00.
The purpose of the Sectoral Parliament is to deepen the Legislature oversight role on government and state entities and to allow for discussions on the role that ICT in developing and disseminating information amongst communities and to ascertain whether there are areas where the North West Provincial Legislature could facilitate improvements.
