North West legislature holds oversight meetings with Social Development and Health, 20 Feb

North West Legislature Health Committee calls Health Department to account over media reports on R30m pre-payment to a certain Company and R180m Mobile Clinic

On Tuesday 20 February 2018, the  North West Provincial Legislature’s Portfolio Committee on Health and Social Development will hold oversight meetings with the following departments;

• The Provincial office of the South African Social Security Agency and the South African Post Office over the new grants payment contract at 09h00.
• The Department of Social Development will account on the Bosasa Child and Youth Care Centre internal absorption and social media circulated letter purportedly authored by the Chief Director: Corporate Services at 14h00.
• The Department of Health over media reports that it allegedly made a pre-payment to an unknown company and that it further made available R180m for a purchase of a single mobile clinic; at 16h00.

All meetings will take place in the Legislature Committee Room 2.
