North West Legislature SCOPA calls Social Development Department to present a comprehensive report on security arrangements at Former MEC Galeng’s private home
The North West Provincial Legislature’ Standing Committee on Provincial Public Accounts will hold an oversight meeting with the MEC for the Department of Social Development, Fenny Gaolaolwe and management to present a comprehensive report on the payments and security arrangements at the then MEC for the department, Hoffman Galeng’s private home in Vryburg.
On 17 October 2018, the Committee called the department and the then MEC t to account on the security arrangements at his private residence following media reports on the matter and concluded that the department should submit a comprehensive report on following uncertainty on the matter.
The meeting is scheduled as follows;
