On Friday, 06 November 2015, the North West Provincial Legislature’s Portfolio Committee on Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment will be conducting an oversight meeting at the Potchefstroom Agriculture College at Alex Holm Boardroom at 11h00.
The Committee will be deliberating on amongst others; the unsatisfactory state of the kitchen; employees hired on a temporary basis whilst there are permanent staff hired at the institution who can perform the same duties and be paid overtime; the discontentment on the pricing of fees and questionable qualifications on some of the professional staff.
The senior management of the institution and the Department of Rural Environment and Agricultural Development will be present at the meeting.
