Speaker and MPLs to lodge applications for new smart card IDs
On Monday, 3 February 2014, the Speaker of the North West Provincial Legislature, Hon. Supra Mahumapelo and Deputy Speaker, Hon. Philemon Mapulane together with the Members of the Provincial Legislature and management will meet the Department of Home Affairs to lodge applications for the new Smart Card Identity Document at their Klerksdorp Offices at 10h00.
All spheres of government within the province will be there to lodge applications and receive their Smart Card Identity Document.
The department invited the Speaker, MPLS and management to replace their old green barcoded identity documents with the new Smart Card IDs.
All members of the media are invited to attend the meetings.
