The performance and new set of priorities of the North West Department of Health will be on the spotlight on Tuesday, 21 May 2013 when MEC Dr Magome Masike tables the 2013/14 Budget Speech at the Provincial Legislature in Mmabatho.
The speech will give a performance review of the department during the 2012/13 financial year and also bring communities up to date about piloting of the National Health Insurance in Dr Kenneth Kaunda District and Primary Health Care Re-engineering. Health Infrastructure Development programme, plans to combat diseases, school health programme and plans to improve efficiency of health systems will be focus of the speech.
Proceedings for the day will start with presentation of the speech at 11h00 followed by post budget speech Gala Dinner at Mmabatho Hotel School scheduled for 18h00.
