Invitation to the official opening of the new NSFAS service centre
Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Training (DHET) Mr Buti Manamela, and the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) Administrator Dr Randall Carolissen will tomorrow 18 October 2018 officially open the new NSFAS Service Centre.
The establishment and opening of the Service Centre is a significant milestone for the organisation, in order to improve accessibility to students, community and applicants. The service centre has been equipped with 14 computers and a scanner allowing applicants to apply on their own or through assisted capture by NSFAS staff.
The centre accommodates over 30 seated visitors consisting of the waiting area, the self-service computers and the consultation cubicles.
Since the opening of the centre on 08 October 2018, more than 322 visitors have been assisted.
