The Minister of Public Works, TW Nxesi (MP) cordially invites you to the National EPWP Week launch in celebration of the Expanded Public Works Programme (EPWP) progress and achievements in upholding its mandate of providing work opportunities to the poor, unskilled and unemployed South Africans.

Background
The National EPWP Week will be held from 28 November – 4 December under the theme “EPWP so many lives changed for the better”. During this week, all implementers of the Programme will be encouraged to embark on events such as EPWP projects visits, launches, sod-turning activities and site handovers.
In Hammanskraal, Minister Nxesi will do a sod-turning ceremony at the site where the fencing of the Temba Dam which involves an erection of a game fence and security access gates covering a perimeter of 5 500 metres will commence before the end of 2013/14 financial year. The Minister will also do a walk-about at the Greening of Hammanskraal projects. These projects will provide work opportunities to 53 EPWP beneficiaries.
