National Assembly Deputy Speaker Ms NomaIndiya Mfeketo to address prayer services for Madiba

The Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Ms NomaIndiya Mfeketo will address two services called to pray for the improved health and recovery of former President, Nelson Mandela around the Cape Peninsula this weekend.

The first prayer service, hosted by the Interfaith Council at the OR Tambo Hall in Khayelitsha, will be held on Friday, 12 July from 9h00 until 12h00.

The second service, organised by the Progressive Women Movement of South Africa (PWMSA), will be held on Sunday, 14 July at Vrygrond Trust School in Muizenberg. Ms Mfeketo will address the prayer services in her capacity as the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly.

Both prayer services will be attended by various religious communities and are open to the public.
