Mpumalanga Premier David Mabuza will spend Friday visiting hospitals around Ehlanzeni district municipality to check challenges faced by the health sector in these areas.
The Premier has recently conceded that the health sector in the province is not in a good state, and has subsequently embarked on a tour to all 32 provincial hospitals to get first-hand information of the situation.
To date he has visited at least nine hospitals in the Nkangala region and will resume his programme tomorrow. Although the visits are un-announced, the Premier is expected to tour at least seven hospitals tomorrow.
