The MEC for Education, Mrs Reginah Mhaule will visit Phumzile Secondary School, in Tweefontein North at Thembisile Hani Local Municipality on 28 October 2013. The visit will take place at 7h30 as MEC Mhaule intends to witness the commencement of the 2013 Grade 12 examinations.
A total of 58 517 learners are going to sit for the National Senior Certificate Examination from 28 October to 29 November 2013. The MEC for Education has already expressed her profound best wishes to all learners who are going to write their final examinations:
“Your journey of 12 years is about to bear fruits. It is our wish that you stay focused
throughout the examination process, listen to your parents and teachers. As the 2013 class, you can count on the support of the people of our province as well as government. We wish you the best in your examinations,” she said.
Marking will commence on 29 November 2013 in 18 marking centres and the results will be announced on 7 January 2014.
