The Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (CoGTA) , Dr Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma and Minister of Basic Education, Hon Angie Motshekga will join the KwaZulu-Natal Premier and Members of the Executive Council (MECs) on a visit to three of some of schools affected by disaster during the recent months in the Harry Gwala District Municipality.
The visits will start with a briefing at Zashuke Secondary School. It will include a walk about and inspection of the damage caused. The team will outline accelerated interventions by all relevant spheres of government to minimize the impact of the damaged infrastructure to the start of the learners' academic year.
Following the visits, the Ministers, Premier and the MECs will brief members of the media as follows:
