SONA multidisciplinary deployment parade
The Ministers of the Justice Crime Prevention Cluster(JCPS) led by the Minister of Police, General Bheki Cele and the Minister of Defence and Military Veterans ,Mme Thandi Modise will on Thursday, 08 February 2024, address the National Joint Operational and Intelligence Structures (Natjoints) ahead of their deployment for the State of the Nation Address (SONA).
The Director Generals of the various departments and law enforcement agencies will also be present.
The multidisciplinary parade will consist of members of the South African Police Service(SAPS), the South African National Defence Force(SANDF), the Provincial and National Traffic Management officials, Cape Town Metro Police as well as the City of Cape Town Traffic Officials.
All law enforcement agencies securing this event will execute their duties according to their Constitutional mandate and within relevant prescripts pre, during and post SONA.
