The Ministerial Task Team appointed by Cabinet to engage traditional leaders on the land issue will meet with the leadership of the National House of Traditional Leaders (NHTL) and leaders of provincial houses on Friday 6 July 2018 in Pretoria.
- Cabinet appointed a task team of the following Ministers;
- Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs, Dr Zweli Mkhize as convenor,
- Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Mr Senzeni Zokwana
- Minister of Rural Development and Land Reform, Ms Maite Nkoana-Mashabane
- Minister of Communications, Ms Nomvula Mokonyane.
The Ministers will meet with the NHTL delegation led by the Chairperson, Ikosi Sipho Mahlangu, accompanied by the executive committee and the chairpersons of the provincial houses of traditional leaders.
The meeting, which will be followed by a media briefing, will take place as follows;
