CoGTA Minister to meet Moral Regeneration Movement
The Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (CoGTA), Dr Zweli Mkhize will hold a meeting with the Moral Regeneration Movement (MRM), tomorrow on the 19th of June.
The MRM is led by Father Smangaliso Mkhatshwa and was launched on 18 April 2002. It was founded on the principles that South Africans are highly moral beings, and do not promote signs of moral decay, which sometimes occur in our country. These include the blatant disregard for the sanctity of human life, the abuse of women and children, crime, substance abuse, lack of respect for the next person and their property and so forth.
The issues to be discussed include training for ethical leadership, charter of election ethics, violence against women, and violent service delivery protests.
