Minister Mkhize and Rev Jackson to reflect on Black Excellence

The Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs, Dr Zweli Mkhize will be joined by US civil rights leader, the Reverend Jesse Jackson in a discussion on black excellence in honour of Mama Winnie Madikizela-Mandela today, 16 April.

The event is hosted by the Ikusasa Le-Africa Foundation, of which Minister Mkhize is a patron.

The event takes place ahead of Minister Mkhize’s meeting with Black Professionals that will take place on Friday 20 April at Birchwood Hotel in Boksburg. The Minister will host black engineers, accountants, auditors and other professionals to discuss support required to turn around distressed and dysfunctional municipalities in the country, ahead of the CoGTA Budget Vote which will take place on 15 May 2018 in the National Assembly.
