The Minister for Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs, currently acting as Minister for Public Service and Administration will on 02 November 2018 deliver the keynote address at the launch of the 2018 Ibrahim Index on African Governance (IIAG).
The launch will be hosted in Pretoria by the African Peer Review Mechanism (APRM) with a high-level discussion about the 2018 findings of the Ibrahim Index of African Governance and the event will bring together African-focused stakeholders – including policy-makers, international dignitaries, partners and academics, members of civil society and business leaders – to discuss the main findings of the IIAG. The global launch was held on Monday 29 October 2018.
While the event will reflect specifically on the performance of South Africa, it's overall focus will be on the progress and development of governance across the continent.
