Department of Sport, Arts and Culture Minister Zizi Kodwa will on Friday, 25 August 2023, visit the University of the Western Cape to honour Banyana Banyana players who are alumni of the university.
The University of Western Cape alumni in the Banyana Banyana team comprises of: Thembi Kgatlana, Kaylin Swart, Nomvula Kgoale, Jermaine Seoposenwe and Noxolo Cesane.
The Minister will also celebrate the University of Western Cape’s women’s football team who were recently crowned the 2023 Varsity Cup champions.
The Minister will be available for media interviews.
