Banyana Banyana FIFA World Cup squad announcement and send-off Gala Dinner, Pretoria
The National Department of Sport, Arts and Culture under the guidance of Minister Zizi Kodwa in partnership with the South African Football Association (SAFA) invites members of the media to Banyana Banyana FIFA World Cup squad announcement and send-off gala dinner. The event will take place on Friday, 23 of June 2023 at Sefako Makgatho Presidential Guest House in Pretoria.
The reigning African champions South Africa, together with Morocco, Nigeria, and Zambia, are the four African teams set to represent the continent at the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup showpiece to be held in New Zealand and Australia from 20 July
- 20 August 2023.
The Banyana Banyana FIFA World Cup squad announcement and send-off gala dinner will also be attended by various Ministers and provincial MECs for Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation.
The event will unfold as follows:
Date: Friday, 23 June 2023
Time: 18:30 for 19:00 – 21:00
Venue: Sefako Makgatho Presidential Guest House, Pretoria (Gate 10, Bryntirion Estate, Nassau Street).
NB: Members of the media will be required to present their Press Cards & IDs to gain access.
