SATSA CEO, David Frost, says of the event: "Were ecstatic that our new Minister of Tourism will be in attendance at our annual conference. This shows his immediate commitment to better understanding our industry and engaging with the travel trade. He will be attending a wonderful food and wine evening sponsored by We Are Africa on Thurs 7th prior to the conference. Come and meet him over a glass of wine."

Frost furthers that in addition to Minister Hanekom, senior government officials and executive staff from SA Tourism will be in attendance and involved in the panel discussions. "We are hoping for open dialogue between public and private sector, enhancing the working relationship between the two and creating a networking environment for all delegates."
