The Minister for Small Business Development, Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams, will, on Thursday, 12 October 2023, host the Pitch for Funding Competition intended to afford small businesses an opportunity to test their innovative ideas to attract investment.
As part of the promotion of the various funding instruments within the DSBD portfolio, DSBD, Seda and Sefa are collaborating to provide pitching opportunities to accelerate access to funding.
This is a platform for investment ready SMMEs to be afforded an opportunity to showcase their ideas, innovations and investment business cases to Sefa, Seda and DSBD. It also connects entrepreneurs with non-financial support instruments required to close the investment readiness gap or post investment scale-up interventions.
