Home Affairs Minister Dr Siyabonga Cwele is scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting with his Kingdom of Eswatini counterpart, Her Royal Highness Princess Lindiwe Dlamini on Friday, 12 April 2019. The two are scheduled to discuss matters of mutual concern relating to the management of migration between the two countries.
South Africa is undertaking an international migration management policy overhaul central to which the Southern African Development Community (SADC) plays a pivotal role. In this regard, the Department of Home Affairs engages continuously with its regional counterparts as part of strengthening relations while reinforcing diplomatic cooperation.
Following the talks, the two Ministers will tour the Oshoek Port of Entry to assess the readiness of both border posts to facilitate the smooth movement of travellers and goods for the Easter Season.
