The Minister of Basic Education, Ms Siviwe Gwarube, MP, will attend the official launch of the LEAP 9 School, rebuilt by Volkswagen South Africa, in KwaNobuhle, Kariega.
The launch marks a significant milestone in strengthening partnerships between government and the private sector to expand access to quality education and improve learning environments for South Africa's children.
Minister Gwarube will use the occasion to highlight the importance of partnerships that contribute to the development of schools and create opportunities for learners to access quality education in safe, dignified and conducive learning environments.
The event will also provide an opportunity to recognise Volkswagen South Africa for its commitment to education and its contribution to the communities in which it operates.
