Minister of Public Works and Infrastructure, Hon. Sihle Zikalala will today visit an EPWP project in Okhahlamba Local Municipality, in KwaZulu-Natal as part of EPWP Pre-Presidential Imbizo
The Minister of Public Works and Infrastructure, Hon. Sihle Zikala will today visit an EPWP project in Okhahlamba Local Municipality as part of the EPWP-Pre-Presidential Imbizo. Minister Zikalala will engage EPWP participants who are working in the EPWP Okhahlamba Incentive Grant Waste Management Project. The 99 participants who are working at this project carry out a range of community-beneficial activities such as litter picking, waste collection, and street cleaning. Of the total of 99 EPWP participants in the project, 95 of them are women while 37 (of the total number of 99) are young people. Minister Zikalala’s visit to EPWP projects is part of President Cyril Ramaphosa’s Imbizo to KwaZulu-Natal.
