Minister Zikalala tackles project blockages in Limpopo
Public Works and Infrastructure Minister Sihle Zikalala, MP, will on Friday, 22 September 2023, take his operation Siyahlola to the Vuwani Police Station in Limpopo. The site inspection forms part of the Minister’s Operation Siyahlola, wherein the Minister inspect progress or lack thereof on facilities that are being built by the Department of Public Works & Infrastructure.
The Minister has prioritised the process of unblocking projects which have been plagued by various challenges that have resulted in delays in completing the public facilities. The delays in completing this facilities inevitably lead to hobbling service delivery of essential services for the benefit of communities.
The inspections that the Minister undertake serve to deal with the snags that are delaying progress. The inspections also serve to emphasise the Minister’s commitment to deliver services in line with Department’s mandate as the state’s leader in the construction and infrastructure sector.
