MInister of Police Nathi Mthethwa to host Imbizo with Khutsong residents

The Minister of Police, Nathi Mthethwa will tomorrow host an imbizo with the residents of Khutsong to resolve some of the challenges around policing in the area.  The Minister will be joined by Gauteng MEC for Community Safety, Ms Faith Mazibuko, the Acting SAPS Provincial Commissioner, Lieutenant General Lesetja Mothiba, as well as leaders from Community Policing Forums and local Civic Organisations.


Last week, six people were attacked and killed for allegedly being involved in gangsterism and the Minister warned against such lawlessness.  The meeting is aimed at ensuring that challenges of crime are addressed, collectively through partnerships between police and communities.
