The Minister of Trade, Industry and Competition, Mr Parks Tau will meet with stakeholders in the Nedlac forum to discuss the awaited outcome of the United State’s review which sought to determine whether South Africa meets the eligibility criteria to receive AGOA benefits in 2027. The US is expected to release the outcomes of the annual eligibility review on Monday 2 November 2026.
Minister Tau will brief the media on developments in the discussions at the conclusion of the meeting with Nedlac.
