The Minister for Science and Technology, Naledi Pandor, will, on 30 September 2014, introduce her new council on innovation to the innovation community. The National Advisory Council on Innovation (NACI) is a statutory council established through the National Advisory Council on Innovation Act, 1997 (Act No. 55 of 1997), to advise the Minister for Science and Technology and Cabinet on all matters pertinent to innovation.
The NACI Council members are drawn from various sectors and are distinguished as people of influence and expertise in their spheres of interest.
