Minister Pandor to visit Beitbridge

Beitbridge-  Minister of Home Affairs, Naledi Pandor will pay a visit to Beitbridge port of entry on Thursday, 28 March 2013 while the Director-General, Mkuseli Apleni will visit Lebombo port of entry on the same day. It is the mandate of the Home Affairs department to manage all land, sea and air ports of entry across the country. Accordingly, the visits to Beitbridge and Lebombo ports of entry come within the context of ensuring the smooth facilitation of movement of people, goods and services during the Easter Weekend.

Both Beitbridge and Lebombo are among the major national ports of entry that normally witness an upsurge in traveller movements in and out of the country during Easter and the festive periods. In this regard, the Home Affairs department has deployed extra personnel and increased working hours in a number of ports of entry across the country to elevate service delivery levels during this period.
