The Minister of Science and Technology, Naledi Pandor will deliver the opening address at the Gala Dinner of the 17th World Congress of Basic and Clinical Pharmacology (WCP 2014) and Pharmacology for Africa Initiative at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC), Ballroom East, this evening, Wednesday, 16 July 2014 at 19h00.
Delegates from close to 90 countries are attending the event, including many from the African continent.
They include health care professionals, academics, researchers, educators and policy makers from diverse arenas, including medical, pharmaceutical and other healthcare disciplines, pharmaceutical industry, governments and non-governmental organisations from around the globe.
