The Minister of Higher Education and Training, Dr. Blade Nzimande, MP, along with the Premier of Free State, Mr Ace Magashule, will on Tuesday, 1 April 2014, launch the Free State FET Graduate Placement Programme.
The FET Graduate Placement Programme will see graduates from FET colleges being placed for experiential learning in various components of the Free State Provincial Government and municipalities.
The placement of graduates is part of a broader strategy of the Department of Higher Education and Training to create seamless transition from institutions of learning to workplaces. It also gives practical effect to the implementation of the National Skills Accord and the Youth Employment Accord.
