Minister of Defence and Military Veterans, Minister Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula, will table the department's budget vote before the National Assembly on 23 July 2014.
Minister Mapisa-Nqakula's speech will highlight some of the achievements and priorities of the South African National Defence Force (SANDF) for the 2014/15 financial year, unpack key deliverables of the current financial year and provide an analysis of the Defence Review as a blueprint for the baseline design and structure of the SANDF.
Hon. Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula, will be joined by the entire Apex leadership of the Ministry of Defence, SANDF and Military Veterans including key stakeholders in the defence industry.
The delivery of the Budget Vote Speech in the Old Assembly Chamber will be preceded by a media briefing.
