Minister Nomvula Mokonyane addresses SWPN Regional Learning Forum, 27 Oct

The Minister of Water and Sanitation, Ms. Nomvula Mokonyane, will on Tuesday, 27 October 2015 attend and deliver the keynote address at the South African Water Partners (SWPN) Regional Learning Forum to be held in Johannesburg.

SWPN in partnership with the National Business Initiative (NBI) and the International Water Stewardship Programme, as implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) on behalf of the UK and German governments, have convened forum with an intention to mobilise the private-sector, civil-society and government to find practical ways of how business, in particular, may successfully implement water stewardship.

The South African Water Partners Network brings together some of the biggest water users in the private sector, namely companies such as SAB-Miller and Coca Cola and as such, their commitment to pursuing water stewardship programme and identifying areas of cooperation to achieving water-use efficiency in the country and region is critical.

The Regional Learning Forum will be held as follows:

Venue: Radisson Blu Hotel Sandton (Corner of Rivonia Road and Daisy Street); Johannesburg
