Minister Ngoako Ramatlhodi addresses Carletonville community on attacks on foreign nationals, 28 Apr

Mineral Resources Minister, Adv. Ngoako Ramatlhodi (MP) will on Tuesday 28th April 2015 address residents of Carletonville in the West Rand, Gauteng, on the attacks on foreign nationals. 

Heeding the call by President Jacob Zuma to strengthen support for peace and peaceful co-existence among all peace-loving South Africans, the Minister will engage the community on the attacks and promote the Mining Charter principle of ensuring non -discrimination against foreign migrant workers. The mining industry was built on labour sourced not only from around South Africa, but from neighbouring countries as well.

The Minister will be joined by the Executive Mayor of Merafong Municipality, Cllr Mogale-Letsie.
