Minister Naledi Pandor to visit Home Affairs Harrison Street in Johannesburg to monitor its readiness to support the final voter registration weekend

Home Affairs Minister, Naledi Pandor will visit the Home Affairs Office at Harrison Street in Johannesburg, tomorrow, Saturday, 8 February 2014, at 9h00, as part of monitoring her department’s readiness to support the Electoral Commissions's (IEC) final voter registration weekend.

Minister Naledi Pandor ordered the opening of all 403 Home Affairs offices across the country in line with the IEC’s registration, which starts at 8h00 to 17h00 on Saturday and Sunday, 8 to 9 February 2014.

This is meant for the Department of Home Affairs offices to provide identity documents to all citizens who need them to register for elections, this year.
