The Minister of Home Affairs, Naledi Pandor will, tomorrow, Friday, 2 August 2013, lead the Department of Home Affairs (DHA) identity documents distribution campaign at Thembisile Hani Local Municipality (KwaMhlanga) in Mpumalanga. The event will take place at Musa High School and starts at 14h00.
Minister Naledi Pandor will be joined by the Mayor of Thembisile Hani Municipality, Mr Ndaweni Mahlangu and his executive.
Part of Minister Naledi Pandor’s programme will include assisting with capturing of applications and distribution of identity documents and birth certificates from DHA’s mobile units, which will be stationed at the school.
This will be followed by Minister’s address to local municipality stakeholders, comprising the Executive Mayor and his executive council members, Business Forum representatives, South African Youth Council members, traditional leaders, school governing body members, and pastor’s forum.
The programme will conclude with door-to-door delivery of identity documents to few households within the community of KwaMhlanga.
