Minister Motshekga/Shoprite Checkers Trust present newly renovated school in Port Elizabeth

Basic Education Minister Angie Motshekga will on Tuesday, 19 March 2013 hand over the newly renovated Coega Primary School to the community of Motherwell in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape

The school, which has been in a dilapidated state over many years, was recently renovated courtesy of the Shoprite Checkers Development Trust, at a cost of R1.2 million. Repairs included the painting, paving, replacement of windows, a brand new library and a kitchen to cater for the 1 300 learners.
