Minister Mondli Gungubele opens Cyberlab in Lusikisiki, Eastern Cape, 20 Jul

The Minister of Communications and Digital Technologies, Hon. Mondli Gungubele opens a Cyberlab in Lusikisiki, Eastern Cape.

The Minister of Communications and Digital Technologies, Mondli Gungubele will officially open a cyberlab at Ntafufu Senior Secondary School in Lusikisiki, in the Eastern Cape.

The national cyberlab programme is an initiative of the State Information Technology Agency (SITA); and is aimed at investing in the creation and expansion of smart schools. This is also aligned to the Minister’s vision of SITA reasserting itself as the leader in driving ICT transformation in government.

The lab is envisioned to enhance the learner’s academic development and teacher’s learning materials through the internet connectivity that is provided in conjunction with the cyberlab infrastructure. The Ntafufu schooling community is determined to improve on its 75.4% matric pass rate achieved in 2022.
