Minister Kubayi to launch another mega social housing project in the City of Johannesburg
The Minister of Human Settlements, Mmamoloko Kubayi, together with Gauteng MEC for Human Settlements, Lebohang Maile, Executive Mayor of the City of Johannesburg, Kabelo Gwamanda and MMC Anthea Leitch, will launch the Riverside View Social Housing Project in Johannesburg on Friday, 25 August 2023.
The launch of the first two phases of the Riverside View Social Housing Project, near Diepsloot, will yield 180 units - which are complete and ready for occupation by new beneficiaries. The development consists of a total of 1108 affordable residential units. Minister Kubayi and the delegation will also conduct a sod turning of Phase-3 of the project, with the construction expected to commence in September 2023.
