The Minister of Labour Midred Oliphant to address the Southern African Development Community (SADC) Meeting of Ministers of employment and labour in Cape Town on Thursday, 1 March 2018.
South Africa’s Minister of Labour, Mildred Oliphant assumed the chairmanship of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) Ministers of Employment and Labour in 2017. This year South Africa will be hosting the second meeting of Ministers of Employment and Labour in Cape Town’s International Convention Centre on 1st and 2nd of March 018.
The meeting of the Ministers of Employment and Labour in SADC will discuss among others the following issues:
- Mining and ex-mine workers within the SADC Region
- Unemployment in the SADC Region
- Interventions relating to Regional Economic Integration in the SADC Region.
- Immigration Issues within the Region
