Minister Michael Masutha to address stakeholders and community members in celebration of Access to Justice Week Campaign

The Minister of Justice and Correctional Services, Advocate Michael Masutha, MP will address stakeholders, traditional council members, local councillors, traditional leaders and the community members to celebrate Access to Justice Week which commenced on 17 August 2015.

Access to Justice Week is a community service initiative spearheaded by the Department of Justice and Constitutional Development (DoJ&CD) and South African Women Lawyers Association (SAWLA).

During this week the department will offer free legal advice and assistance (including the drafting of wills) provided to the broader public at various community centres and workplaces throughout the country. The emphasis is on interfacing with and addressing the legal needs of all South Africans, especially women, children and all the disadvantaged.
