The Minister of Sport and Recreation South Africa, Mr Fikile Mbalula will, on Thursday, 19th of June 2014, honour the two commitments he made to the school pupils and Linee family in De Doorns and Paarl respectively.
The commitments are line with the National Sport Plan and to extend a hand of need to the deserving.
The commitments to be fulfilled are as follows:
1. Minister will deliver and handover 20 bicycles to the young school pupil who are future cyclists in De Doorns
2. Minister Mbalula will make a financial contribution to a former Springnok Rugby player, Mr Marthinus Linee, who is suffering from a Motor Neuron Disease.
