Minister Zulu visits Limpopo village to assess impact of department’s programmes

Minister of Small Business Development, Lindiwe Zulu, will, on 24 August 2018 visit a cooperative that is funded and supported by the Department of Small Business Development at Vondo village near Thohoyandou in the Vhembe District. The visit is part of Minister’s commitment to assess the impact of the department’s programmes, especially in rural communities.

Vondo Multi-Skills Primary Cooperative is an agricultural cooperative funded through the department’s Cooperative Incentive Scheme (CIS). The objective of CIS is to improve the viability and competitiveness of co-operative enterprises by lowering the cost of doing business through an incentive that supports Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment.

Minister Zulu will be joined by officials from the province and Thulamela Local Municipality at Vondo.
