Minister Lindiwe Zulu continues to support entrepreneurs with disability

Minister of Small Business Development, Ms Lindiwe Zulu will reiterate her commitment to support entrepreneurs with disability when she meets stakeholders at the Amavulandlela Fund Engagement Session tomorrow in Pretoria.

In 2016, Minister Zulu launched the Amavulandlela Fund, a funding scheme that is aimed at supporting entrepreneurs with disabilities. The Amavulandlela Fund, which is managed by the department’s agency, Small Enterprise Funding Agency (SEFA), seeks to empower entrepreneurs with disabilities to access business opportunities and to become active participants in the mainstream economy.

Minister Zulu will engage with the sector on the challenges and opportunities facing entrepreneurs with disabilities and how the Amavulandlela Fund can become an effective support instrument in their entrepreneurship journey.
