Minister Sisulu to visit the Vaal Intervention Project to see progress made by ERWAT since coming on site
The Minister of Human Settlements, Water and Sanitation, Lindiwe Sisulu, will on Tuesday, 21 January 2020, lead a high-powered delegation to the Vaal Intervention Project. The visit will give an opportunity to the Minister and the delegation to be brought up to speed with progress made by ERWAT since it was appointed.
ERWAT was appointed as part of the effort to clean-up the Vaal River of the pollution experienced over time.
The media is invited to join the Minister, Executive Mayor/s and officials at the Sedibeng District Municipality Chambers as per the details below. This will be the meeting point from where the Minister will visit various sites.
The Minister will brief journalists about progress made at the last stopping point of her visit.
