The Minister of Human Settlements, Lindiwe Sisulu will visit Lwandle in Strand to access the progress on the construction of Emergency Houses. The Minister will also pay a visit to a mother who is a community member of Lwande who recently gave birth to a new born baby.
Few weeks ago the Housing Development Agency (HDA) informed the Minister that there was progress on the construction of Emergency Houses and that people would start moving out of Nomzamo Community Hall which served as temporary accommodation for the affected families.
